A Bubble of Protection and Welfare

His mini fingers were wrapped around mine. I stared at the new-born through newly discovered eyes at what must be such a curious and unfamiliar world after a long existence in the womb. His was kicking his legs in a strange craggy movement, attempting to find the resistance that he was familiar with, however only finding empty space of air. I speculated that whether it’s a discomfort or a consolation. When he attempted to extend his arms, they hardly surfaced above his head. I was falling in love with this tiny person. As I held him, he felt as small as a bag of sugar. His tiny toes peep out of the little blanket, swinging in the warm breeze of cheeriness. I couldn’t believe how tiny humans are as they step into this world, how fragile, how astonishing. 
 

He was a bit pudgy, however each and every person that saw him said that he was the most mannered baby they’ve ever same across. He never really cried that much, maybe because he was properly taken care of. Contrary to other babies, he was well aware that if his parents are not in the room, they’d be back in an instant. He ate his food without any complains which was evident by his bulkiness. He wasn’t a problem child at all.

It was a hot summer day and the sun plashing every terrace with its fiery oscillations. Summer is always humid and sweltering. It is brimming with moisture and sweats. The surrounding air is suffocating and sultry. The dazzling and red-hot sun is as roasting as the fire itself. It’s like a scorching ball of fire. The earth appears to be desiccated and withered. It was the month of June and definitely the warmest day of the whole season. Since the early morning, the wind was tranquil and immobile. The leaves and flowers were absolutely motionless and all the birds were struggling to breath. This ferocious and intensive heat was very constant and the warmth of the sun was becoming more and more intense after every moment. The day was becoming unbearable. Even all the floors and walls were blazing. Everything was burning hot and untouchable. 

Brandon was with his brother was at the terrace playing with those plastic bottles that scatter water everywhere. It was almost noon and the sun was showering heat. Everyone was feeling thirsty and drinking water again and again but still weren’t fully contented. The only thing that was calming in this insufferable weather was a cold shower. Brandon would take shower every hour to experience a sense of comfort and contentment. He would just stand under the cold water shower for a long time to escape from the blistering sun.
